The Muscatine Swim Club is a non-profit organization geared to developing great swimmers to their maximum potential as well as building self-esteem. Our goal we have for the swimmers is to help them improve their best times and let them learn and enjoy a sport that can last them a lifetime.

Team Philosophy and Goals

Develop and encourage good sportsman ship. Develop a sense of how to have respect and loyalty to coaches and other swimmers Build self-esteem in a swimmer by their feeling good about working hard and having it pay off. Develop a safe exercise that is safe and good for their joints and bodies. Develop in each swimmer a desire to succeed.

The club swims in the winter season of the YMCA organization ( Nov.- March) and the summer season of the Eastern Iowa Swim League ( June-July) Practice sessions are held at both the Muscatine Community YMCA and the Carver Pool at the Muscatine High School. Home swim meets are held at the Carver Pool at the Muscatine High School a 25 yard 6 lane indoor pool.
